plus a spot of phonic work for Miss E Angel and 'Betty'
Just look at that 'waterfall' plait, Pinterest can always provide inspiration for something.
Despite the grey skies and possible rain we descended on the beach - strange there was no one else there
it did mean that there was plenty of room for beach games
Happy days
but then the rain came, just look at that sky
Some of us left, some stayed on the beach to sit it out, even swimming when the tide came in - what it is to be young!
Saturday was packing up day for the Angels but with the sun shinning they joined us on Treyannon beach
and to end the day a bbq at the caravan
It's always sad to say goodbye the them as it's also the end of the holiday, but this year we have planned a visit to them on our way back from our September holiday.
Our day ended with this sight
As for us well we had another 2 nights before we left so Sunday saw us taking the air in a much quieter Padstow
and then lunch with Charlotte and Angus at The Park, Mawgan Porth. It's an eco glamping/lodge site with a fantastic cafe/bistro/eatery there. We've been there before and HIGHLY recommend it if you're ever down that way.
Feeling rather full we went down to Harlyn beach for a good walk
Back to the van to take the awning down and pack as much up as we could, it all looked so bare.
Following a phone call from Charlotte we went up into the village to Raffertys for a final drink which turned into another meal out, having succumbed to their delicious tapas. What a lovely way to end the holiday, it does make a difference leaving on a Monday especially as we got the whole day with Charlotte.
So I can now put
THE END
I hope you've enjoyed the read as much as I have enjoyed reliving the holiday! Have a good week, we are off to Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales for a couple of nights once I have finished work for the week.
L Anne xx
Such a lovely family holiday Anne - and so many happy memories to take from it.
